Before implementing Inwave's solutions, simple tasks such as canceling an item at the checkout could take up to four minutes, requiring staff to travel to the register and directly contributing to longer customer queues.
With the Darwin platform, this process is now handled entirely remotely. The cashier contacts the central monitoring team, which accesses the POS in real time, reviews video, audio, and transaction data, and completes the validation in approximately 30 seconds, a reduction of 87% in service time. The same workflow has also been extended to self-checkouts and voucher and exchange processes, which are now centralized, auditable, and standardized.
Today, the retailer can monitor checkout operations in real time and provide customers with a significantly faster service experience.
